Styled as a grand English manor house and secluded on a lush 160-acre estate complete with its own private air strip, Rowena's evokes an atmosphere of understated elegance and traditional luxury. Unwind in the coziness of a room in the Inn, or escape to the luxury of a cottage in the forest with its own stone fireplace. Rowena's Inn on the River, just over an hour from Vancouver, offers the perfect idyllic escape with luxurious accommodations designed to pamper guests. With ancient Douglas Fir trees reaching to the sky along the bank of the blue-green Harrison River, guests will feel transported back to a simpler time and can enjoy a slower pace during their stay at the 160-acre estate.

The beautifully decorated rooms at the inn serve up a piece of history, with old photos reminiscent of the first settlers to British Columbia. The private cottages offer a romantic getaway complete with a crackling fire. Guests staying in the cottages will have a full hot English style breakfast delivered each morning of their stay at 9:15 a.m. Guests staying in the Inn will be served the same hot breakfast at 9:30 a.m., on the main floor Solarium each morning of their stay.

The Suites at the Inn;

Guest rooms in the Inn were bedrooms for the Manor's original family, giving each a unique design highlighted by a décor of hand-picked antiques and heritage pieces from the far corners of the globe. With thoughtful touches reminiscent of the English countryside, rooms are appointed with tasteful extras that make time with us an experience of superb comfort and grand style. Enjoy a romantic nights' sleep in one of the five luxurious and handsomely decorated guest bedrooms, complete with an overstuffed bed, soft pillows, a beautiful view and two walk out balconies.

Our cottages offer privacy and luxury in a tranquil forest setting. Styled after an early West Coast chalet with distinctive log architecture, a cottage at Rowena's is a splendid, yet unpretentious escape. These hide-a ways offer inviting warmth and rustic charm. Enjoy a two person Jacuzzi tub, hand-crafted river rock fireplace, king size bed, heated slate floors, and a private deck.

The Gatehouse;

Featuring breathtaking views and relaxing privacy, it's the perfect place for two couples to put their feet up and enjoy our beautiful property. The Gatehouse is fully independent flaunting many amenities; two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, cable television, high speed internet access, a full kitchen and a laundry room.
